Refund policy

Every Gilded Laurel product is a digital file. There is nothing to post back, and once a file has been downloaded it cannot be returned. Our policy reflects that, and we have tried to write it plainly rather than in legal shorthand.

Digital downloads

Because our products are digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final once the download has begun. By downloading your file you agree that you have received the product in full, and you waive any right to cancel that would otherwise apply to a digital purchase.

This is standard for downloadable goods, and it is why we describe each product carefully before you buy — including what it is not. Please read the product page before ordering.

If you have not downloaded yet

If you have ordered but not yet used your download link, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will cancel the order and refund you in full. We will check that the link is unused before processing it.

If something is wrong

We will always put right a genuine problem. Contact us and we will fix it or refund you if:

  • Your download link does not work, or never arrived
  • The file is corrupted or will not open
  • The file is not what the product page described
  • You were charged twice, or charged in error

None of the above is affected by anything else on this page. If we have made a mistake, we will sort it out.

What is not a fault

Stated here so there are no surprises later:

  • Our planners are print-and-write, not editable templates. You fill them in by hand. They cannot be typed into, and they are not Canva files.
  • You need a printer, or a print shop. We do not post physical copies.
  • Print settings are your printer’s. If pages come out scaled or cropped, set printing to 100% or “actual size” rather than “fit to page”, and check you are using the file that matches your paper. We are happy to help you get it right.
  • Changing your mind after downloading.

Reply to your order confirmation email, or use the contact page. We aim to answer within one working day, and we would much rather hear from you than have you sit with a file that is not working.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights in respect of goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
