~ paper for the moments worth keeping ~

Gilded Laurel makes printed things for the occasions worth marking. We started with weddings, and with one particular problem.

The problem

Every wedding planner online is either free and ugly, or seventy dollars and full of things you will never use. The free ones are built to be filled in and thrown away. The expensive ones sell you a hundred and sixty pages because volume sounds like value, and then you use eleven of them.

Neither is the thing most brides actually want, which is one beautiful object that lives on the kitchen table for nine months and does not embarrass them.

What we make instead

Thirteen pages. The checklist, the budget, the guest list, the vendor directory, the seating chart, the day-of timeline, and room for notes. That is the whole thing, and every page has to earn its place before it goes in.

They are designed to be printed and written on by hand. There is no app, no login, no subscription and nothing to cancel. You print it, you fill it in with a pencil, and when the day is over it goes in a box with everything else you kept.

How it looks, and why

Antique gold, warm ivory, a fine double rule, and a laurel crest. Restrained rather than decorative — gold is a thread through the design, never a wash over it.

Most wedding stationery shouts. We would rather ours were the sort of thing you would leave out on the side without thinking about it.

What comes next

The name was chosen to be broader than weddings on purpose. Gilded for the gold; laurel for celebration generally. Save-the-dates, menus and order-of-service pieces are being drawn now, all in the same house style, so anything you add later will sit properly alongside what you already have.

Getting in touch

There is no team behind this and no support ticket system. Email us and a person reads it. If something is wrong we will fix it, and if you have an idea for a piece you wish existed, we would genuinely like to hear it.

Beautifully organised. Effortlessly kept.
